Kirk Christensen
Church Administrator
Kirk was born and raised in Los Alamos and has been part of Crossroads, and its predecessor Trinity Bible Church, since 1967. He currently serves as the Church Administrator, including overseeing many of the facility related functions of Crossroads. Kirk also is interested in working with families through what can be called “family facilitation.” He worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1979 to 2012 as mechanical engineer, project engineer, line manager, office director and finally as the Laboratory Ombudsman.
Kirk and his wife, Gretta, have been married for 44 years and have five children, Kristi, Kyle, Marit, Curtis, and Micaela and 17 grandchildren. Kirk holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama and the University of Texas respectively. He has also had training in mediation, dispute resolution, and more recently, training in biblical counseling from Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF).
Kirk’s hobbies include photography and woodworking and (most years) watching Alabama football, ROLL TIDE!
